About

Built around the reality of operating a Craft Union site

Craft Innkeeper is a suite of practical tools created for Craft Union operators, with development shaped by real site experience rather than generic assumptions.

Our approach

Craft Innkeeper exists to provide focused, useful systems for people running busy sites. The platform has been developed in house by the operator of The Globe (Sheffield) a Craft Union site, which means its direction is informed by the practical demands of service, compliance, handover, admin, staffing, and day-to-day site management.

That real-world perspective shapes the way each system is designed. Features are intended to be clear, fast to use, and relevant to the actual working environment of operators and teams. The aim is to reduce friction, support consistency, and make routine processes easier to manage.

Craft Innkeeper is not positioned as a one-size-fits-all hospitality platform. Instead, it is being developed as a targeted suite of tools for the Craft Union environment, growing over time based on practical needs, tested ideas, and operational experience.

What the platform is growing into

The current focus includes operational systems such as cash handling and reporting, alongside future-facing tools for learning, team development, and smarter engagement. As the suite develops, the goal is to keep each addition closely aligned to real use cases rather than adding complexity for its own sake.
